Keep your own notes
right next to the work.

Your notes are personal: nobody else in the same workspace can see them. Ownership is applied during listing too, so not even an admin can open someone else’s note. Because privacy is built in from the start, an unfinished idea is written without hesitation.

You shape a note with headings, lists and emphasis. The same editor from the wiki pages works here. Because the tool is the same, your writing habits carry over between a note and a company page.

You create your own note categories; nobody else's list changes. You add tags on top and filter the list by category, tag or favourite. The order is yours, so you build it around your own work.

You can copy a note and edit the copy. Moving is one action too: a note can go to the wiki or to a project wiki. Because copying is easy, a layout you repeat is built once.

You can open a new note from a ready template. Repeating writings such as a meeting note or a checklist are set up this way. Because the template brings the skeleton, you do not lose time staring at a blank page.

Your own notes come up in the workspace search. The result list says the record is a note. Because the note shows in search, which folder you put it in matters less.

When you delete a note it falls into the bin and is restored from there. To make the record disappear for good it has to be emptied separately. Because the way back is open, a wrong click does not turn into a permanent loss.

Notes share the same writing base as the team’s wiki pages. On the personal shelf there is no publishing, commenting or referencing. Because the two shelves stand apart, your personal draft does not become the team’s page by accident.
